Say Yes to Yoga and avoid these foods during monsoon

Monsoon is a season when hospitals and clinics are overcrowded & doctors are over occupied. We can avoid or minimise our travel to doctors during monsoon if we take care, to avoid the following foods or have them with utmost care. These foods are – Curd – According to Ayurveda, Vata and Pita aggravate during monsoon, causing health issues & fermented food like curd will aggravate it further. Hence, it is better to avoid curd and other fermented foods during monsoon.  Our traditional Samosa, Pakodas, Golgappas - Heavy and oily foods during the monsoons can hamper the body's ability to digest food and can lead to the corresponding diseases arising from indigestion.  Salt - Consuming too much salt could lead to water retention in the body & may cause uneasiness and sluggishness, particularly during monsoon.
